Short version: BharatCalc collects no personal data. We do not require login. We do not store your calculations. We use anonymous analytics to improve the site.
1. What we collect
BharatCalc does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not have user accounts, login forms, or any mechanism to identify individual users. The calculator inputs you enter exist only in your browser's memory and are never sent to our servers.
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site — such as which pages are most visited and which calculators are most used. This data is anonymous and aggregated. It may include your approximate location (country/city level), device type, browser, and pages visited. No personally identifiable data is collected. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
3. Google AdSense
BharatCalc may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
4. Cookies
BharatCalc itself does not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies as described in Google's Privacy Policy. These are used for analytics and advertising purposes only.
5. Third-party links
Our calculators may reference external resources for informational purposes (e.g., SEBI, EPFO, Income Tax Department websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.
6. Children's privacy
BharatCalc is a general-purpose tool suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of BharatCalc after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
